I love babysitting because not only does it take the pressure off of the parent(s) and allow for date nights and an easier life but it is such a great way to encourage and empower younger ones. I have always had a heart for mentoring those who are younger than me, through sports and church, and this is one outlet for doing that. I have babysat for a few families, although not consistently due to college athletics. I am really good friends with my pastor's wife who has 5 children under 10, to which I frequently visit and babysit. I also babysit a group of 3 younger boys ages 9, 6, and 4.
