Hello Family, I’m Jacinda Romo, and I’m excited to share a little about myself with you! I’ve been a nanny for over six wonderful years, and I truly cherish every moment spent with children. I grew up in El Paso, Texas, where I lived for 15 years before moving to Denver, Colorado, for the next decade. Recently, I returned to Texas, and it feels so good to be back home! If you ask my loved ones, they’d describe me as dependable, kind, and organized. From a young age, I’ve always had a nurturing spirit, taking care of my two younger sisters. My youngest sister is Deaf, Autistic, and has ADHD, which taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and unconditional love. I began nannying in high school, and as word spread, I happily continued throughout college, eventually graduating from CU Boulder in May 2021. Each child I’ve cared for has held a special place in my heart, and I’ve built meaningful relationships with the more than ten families I’ve had the joy of working with. Children have a remarkable way of bringing out the best in us, and through nannying, I’ve honed my adaptability, resourcefulness, and attentiveness. My greatest joy comes from helping kids grow into kind and strong individuals. After finishing my degree, I spent three years as an Employment Specialist, where I provided training and support to youth and adults with disabilities. My heart is truly in nurturing children and uplifting underserved communities. I hold a Colorado Substitute K-12 Teacher Certification and am CPR and AED certified. I also speak Spanish and American Sign Language, which helps me connect with even more families. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I can’t wait to embark on this journey with you and your family! Warmly, Jacinda

Hi! I’m Naomi. :) I’ve babysat for 8 years, 0-12 age range, for many families. My experience ranges from church daycare volunteering, to date night sitting, to long term becoming part of the family. Whether caring for siblings or individual kids, I am interactive and attentive, and opt for engaging activities. My mom was a kindergarten teacher, who sat criss-cross applesauce on the floor to read with kids, pretended bananas were phones, and made every little voice feel heard. I became an adult like her! I enjoy spending time with kids, playing games, helping them learn, laughing. Kids realize I genuinely enjoy hanging out out with them. And this makes them feel confident and have fun.

I was also a part time nanny for a baby boy from July 2022-November 2022 until he reached eight months when he entered daycare. January -March 2023 I was helping many families with one -time temporary nanny jobs. April-December 2023 I nannied for a two year old boy and a four year old girl. In January-July 2024 my clientele kept me very busy with kids of all ages. August-December 2024 I nannied a four month old until he started daycare in 2025. Since January 2025, I have been nannying for a family with a four month old until she starts daycare in September 2025. Why Do I Love Being a Sitter? I love being a sitter because it gives me the chance to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children. As a mother of one daughter who is now out of state attending dental school, I’ve always found caring for children incredibly fulfilling. Having just one child has made me treasure the opportunity to nurture and connect with kids, which is why babysitting feels so rewarding to me. Building trust with both children and parents is something I deeply value. What Experience Do I Have? I have extensive experience caring for children and also have a background in caring for the elderly, which has taught me patience, empathy, and responsibility. I’ve worked with children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids, and I’m confident in managing their daily routines, ensuring their safety, and making their day enjoyable. What Skills and Training Do I Have? I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy incorporating it into caregiving, whether it’s helping bilingual families or teaching children basic words. While I’m still improving my English, I can communicate well and ensure clear understanding with both children and parents. I’m currently working on reactivating my CPR certification to ensure I’m always prepared. My skills include safely driving kids to and from school or activities, engaging in creative play, and assisting with light housework to help keep things running smoothly at home. I’m excited to bring dedication, care, and enthusiasm to your family!

I love working with kids. I’ve been babysitting for over six years and also gained experience caring for children at a play center. I enjoy playing, coloring, singing, dancing—anything that brings a smile to a child’s face. I recently graduated from the University of Arkansas in May, and am working towards becoming a pediatrician. Babysitting is a wonderful way for me to continue building skills that will prepare me for that career.

Hi my name is Davi, I grew up in rural Texas, but now find myself living in Austin. I’m the oldest of 3 so as I grew up, I helped my mom manage our household. I’ve been babysitting and taking care of children for almost as long. Starting the summer of my 6th grade year (2006) I stayed with 2 boys ages 8&6. Since then, I’ve babysat/nannied for many families with multiple children (and animals). The last family I nannied for had a newborn who I had most of the day and then I had her 3 brothers when they were out of school. I believe kids should not sit in front of screens all day, so I try to get them to use their imaginations as much as possible. I’m very hands on and am down for anything from play dough to baking (age appropriate of course). My mom taught Pre-K for 20+ years so I’m aware of things that kids need to do in development such as crawling before they walk, touching their toes with their opposite hand, and that they need to be able to do things at their pace, even if they make a mess, so they can learn.

I love being a nanny because I really enjoy being around children. Actually, that's an understatement. I have so much fun being with children. They bring me so much joy. Children adore me and feel comfortable and safe with me. I love to play with them, watch them learn new things, and watch their personalities develop. I have been caring for children for 23 years. I started out at Newell Daycare in Iowa and I worked there for 3 years. I left that position because I moved to Texas to be with my family. I then worked at Treehouse Kids in Pflugerville for 10 years. I left Treehouse kids because I felt like the only thing I was able to do with the children was feed them, change their diapers, and make sure they were safe. I wanted to do more with my children and the number of children I worked with was just too many for that. I then transitioned to a nanny position. At my first job as a nanny I worked with two school aged children. I picked them up at the YMCA, took them home, played with them and read them books until their parents arrived. I also took them to their after school activities such as swimming and music classes. I worked with that family for 3 months until the children went back to school. After that position I worked with a toddler and a 4 year old for 2.5 years. I lost that job due to COVID. Then at my last nanny position I took care of a 4 month old until he was 4.5 years old. While working with this family they had another baby and I took care of that baby from since he was an infant until he turned 2.5 years old. I worked with this family for 4.5 years. I still work with the family from time to time but my full-time position there ended on May of 2025. I have a high school diploma. I am both first-aid and CPR certified. I am patient and kind. I am trilingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. English is my first language. I am dependable and responsible. I have my own reliable vehicle and insurance. I am skilled in caring for children from infancy until 10 years old. I am able to work with up to 4 children at a time and I can also tend to animals.
