Hi my name is Davi, I grew up in rural Texas, but now find myself living in Austin. I’m the oldest of 3 so as I grew up, I helped my mom manage our household. I’ve been babysitting and taking care of children for almost as long. Starting the summer of my 6th grade year (2006) I stayed with 2 boys ages 8&6. Since then, I’ve babysat/nannied for many families with multiple children (and animals). The last family I nannied for had a newborn who I had most of the day and then I had her 3 brothers when they were out of school. I believe kids should not sit in front of screens all day, so I try to get them to use their imaginations as much as possible. I’m very hands on and am down for anything from play dough to baking (age appropriate of course). My mom taught Pre-K for 20+ years so I’m aware of things that kids need to do in development such as crawling before they walk, touching their toes with their opposite hand, and that they need to be able to do things at their pace, even if they make a mess, so they can learn.

ABOUT ME I am 37 year old female and a graduate of St. Edward’s University. I moved back from NY 5 years ago. I am currently running my own mobile spray tanning and work in fitness in the afternoons/weekend mornings. I am looking for a new family to babysit for in the mornings a few days a week or babysit on call for date nights (Wednesday or Sunday evenings)! I have been sitting for them ever since. They have four kids. A 12 year old girl, an 8 year old boy, 10 year old boy, and 4 year old boy. They also have a dog I look after. The kids are wonderful!  I play different games with the kids, encourage them to go on walks or we walk to different trails. I get them fed and to bed. I also help them with homework if there is a need. This has been one of my greatest babysitting experiences. The kids and parents are so sweet. My parents have even become friends with the Dirobo’s over the years.             June ’03-August ‘06            Judge Ditta’s Family For the Ditta family, I babysat 3 girls on a very regular basis, before I left Houston for college. The children were 2, 4, and 6 years old whenever I first babysat them. I helped the kids understand their homework, took them to dance practice, prepared their meals, cleaned up around the house, and put them to bed. I had a blast playing games, house, dancing around, swimming, and doing arts and crafts with the girls. I usually babysat them on weekends until one or two in the morning.  I don’t mind staying up late!     May ‘02- August ‘06            Fernandez Family When I started babysitting for the Fernandez family their daughter was seven. Allergic to cats. Fine with dogs.

I became a caregiver because of the big immediate family I am apart of ( I am the 7th of 11 children). No matter what field I go into I always find my way back to working with children.
