Hi my name is Davi, I grew up in rural Texas, but now find myself living in Austin. I’m the oldest of 3 so as I grew up, I helped my mom manage our household. I’ve been babysitting and taking care of children for almost as long. Starting the summer of my 6th grade year (2006) I stayed with 2 boys ages 8&6. Since then, I’ve babysat/nannied for many families with multiple children (and animals). The last family I nannied for had a newborn who I had most of the day and then I had her 3 brothers when they were out of school. I believe kids should not sit in front of screens all day, so I try to get them to use their imaginations as much as possible. I’m very hands on and am down for anything from play dough to baking (age appropriate of course). My mom taught Pre-K for 20+ years so I’m aware of things that kids need to do in development such as crawling before they walk, touching their toes with their opposite hand, and that they need to be able to do things at their pace, even if they make a mess, so they can learn.

We had a wonderful experience with Davi, who watched our 3 kids while we were travelling in Austin. She came to our apartment twice, prepared with fun activities to keep our kiddos engaged, having fun, without devices: From baking to charades to hide and seek. We would love to ask Davi to babysit again, and would highly recommend!

I became a caregiver because of the big immediate family I am apart of ( I am the 7th of 11 children). No matter what field I go into I always find my way back to working with children. I truly believe making a positive impact starts with the young. I am passionate about any job I take upon, and I will work extra hard to make my clients feel safe and happy. I have many years of paid and non paid experience. If you will like to know more feel free to contact me and let’s chat.

Why Do I Love Being a Sitter? I love being a sitter because it gives me the chance to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children. As a mother of one daughter who is now out of state attending dental school, I’ve always found caring for children incredibly fulfilling. Having just one child has made me treasure the opportunity to nurture and connect with kids, which is why babysitting feels so rewarding to me. Building trust with both children and parents is something I deeply value. What Experience Do I Have? I have extensive experience caring for children and also have a background in caring for the elderly, which has taught me patience, empathy, and responsibility. I’ve worked with children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids, and I’m confident in managing their daily routines, ensuring their safety, and making their day enjoyable. What Skills and Training Do I Have? I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy incorporating it into caregiving, whether it’s helping bilingual families or teaching children basic words. While I’m still improving my English, I can communicate well and ensure clear understanding with both children and parents. I’m currently working on reactivating my CPR certification to ensure I’m always prepared. My skills include safely driving kids to and from school or activities, engaging in creative play, and assisting with light housework to help keep things running smoothly at home. I’m excited to bring dedication, care, and enthusiasm to your family!

Gabriela has been taking care of our 2 children (3 and 6) for almost 1 year and she's been absolutely amazing. We were lucky to find her shortly after moving to Austin with no family to lean on: dependable, affectionate, and always accommodating, she quickly got up to speed with the child care duties and our entire family grew incredibly fond of her. Our children at times would cry when her shift ended and didn't want to let her leave. This tells you all there is to know. We highly recommend Gabriela to any family looking for a trusted, caring sitter.

Evie has been great with our newborn and 2 year old. She is warm, friendly, and dependable. She loves reading books with the kids and helps out with mealtime. Our kids don’t cry when we leave, they’re happy to see her, and they’re just as happy and content when we get home. We trust her with our boys and would recommend her to any family.

Hello Family, I’m Jacinda Romo, and I’m excited to share a little about myself with you! I’ve been a nanny for over six wonderful years, and I truly cherish every moment spent with children. I grew up in El Paso, Texas, where I lived for 15 years before moving to Denver, Colorado, for the next decade. Recently, I returned to Texas, and it feels so good to be back home! If you ask my loved ones, they’d describe me as dependable, kind, and organized. From a young age, I’ve always had a nurturing spirit, taking care of my two younger sisters. My youngest sister is Deaf, Autistic, and has ADHD, which taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and unconditional love. I began nannying in high school, and as word spread, I happily continued throughout college, eventually graduating from CU Boulder in May 2021. Each child I’ve cared for has held a special place in my heart, and I’ve built meaningful relationships with the more than ten families I’ve had the joy of working with. Children have a remarkable way of bringing out the best in us, and through nannying, I’ve honed my adaptability, resourcefulness, and attentiveness. My greatest joy comes from helping kids grow into kind and strong individuals. After finishing my degree, I spent three years as an Employment Specialist, where I provided training and support to youth and adults with disabilities. My heart is truly in nurturing children and uplifting underserved communities. I hold a Colorado Substitute K-12 Teacher Certification and am CPR and AED certified. I also speak Spanish and American Sign Language, which helps me connect with even more families. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I can’t wait to embark on this journey with you and your family! Warmly, Jacinda

We were visiting Austin for a few weeks and needed some help with our daughter. What a wonderful time she had. She's four and both my husband and I, and our daughter, were instantly at ease. She had some great ideas to entertain our daughter whilst in Austin too. Jacinda would take her to parks, museums, and the library, and she also played with her so nicely at home too. Jacinda would be a great addition to any family looking for help with their little ones.

I love working with kids. I’ve been babysitting for over six years and also gained experience caring for children at a play center. I enjoy playing, coloring, singing, dancing—anything that brings a smile to a child’s face. I recently graduated from the University of Arkansas in May, and am working towards becoming a pediatrician. Babysitting is a wonderful way for me to continue building skills that will prepare me for that career.

I love being a nanny because I really enjoy being around children. Actually, that's an understatement. I have so much fun being with children. They bring me so much joy. Children adore me and feel comfortable and safe with me. I love to play with them, watch them learn new things, and watch their personalities develop. I have been caring for children for 23 years. I started out at Newell Daycare in Iowa and I worked there for 3 years. I left that position because I moved to Texas to be with my family. I then worked at Treehouse Kids in Pflugerville for 10 years. I left Treehouse kids because I felt like the only thing I was able to do with the children was feed them, change their diapers, and make sure they were safe. I wanted to do more with my children and the number of children I worked with was just too many for that. I then transitioned to a nanny position. At my first job as a nanny I worked with two school aged children. I picked them up at the YMCA, took them home, played with them and read them books until their parents arrived. I also took them to their after school activities such as swimming and music classes. I worked with that family for 3 months until the children went back to school. After that position I worked with a toddler and a 4 year old for 2.5 years. I lost that job due to COVID. Then at my last nanny position I took care of a 4 month old until he was 4.5 years old. While working with this family they had another baby and I took care of that baby from since he was an infant until he turned 2.5 years old. I worked with this family for 4.5 years. I still work with the family from time to time but my full-time position there ended on May of 2025. I have a high school diploma. I am both first-aid and CPR certified. I am patient and kind. I am trilingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. English is my first language. I am dependable and responsible. I have my own reliable vehicle and insurance. I am skilled in caring for children from infancy until 10 years old. I am able to work with up to 4 children at a time and I can also tend to animals.

A while ago, I had the pleasure of working with Valeria, and I still remember how wonderful the experience was. She was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to every little detail. From the very beginning, she made everything feel easy and comfortable, and you could truly see the passion she has for what she does. What stood out the most was her dedication and warm personality — she goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Even now, when I look back, I feel grateful that I had the chance to work with someone so genuine and talented. If you ever get the opportunity to work with Valeria, you’ll understand exactly what I mean. Highly recommended. ✨?

Hello! My name is Kimberly, I am a 19 year old babysitter with 7 years of experience and 3 years of paid experience! I am a dedicated and responsible babysitter with a huge passion for nurturing and educating children. I am currently a college student with a flexible schedule during the school but fully available during summers and breaks! My goal is to save money for college and eventually attend law school, and I believe that my experiences with babysitting will not only help me achieve that but also enrich my understanding of child development. I have worked with 5 families over the course of my three years on this app in which i worked with up to 5 kids at a time ranging from ages 4-16. I have also worked as a tutor teaching english, spanish, and history. I have experience with children with disability as well as potty training young ones! I firmly believe that children learn best through interactive experiences rather than screens, and I try my best to engage with them with meaningful activities I am CPR and childcare trained, having completed my training at the age of 13. With experience caring for up to five children overnight, I have developed strong multitasking and problem-solving skills. My approach to babysitting emphasizes safety, creativity, and active participation, ensuring that children are not only safe but also entertained and engaged. In addition to my childcare skills, i enjoying cooking and baking! Although this isn’t something all families look for i enjoy preparing meals and allowing kids to help with small tasks in order to stimulate their minds! I also am a pet owner, caring for my cat and dog. so pets are not an issue and can be also watched! if Furthermore, I founded a babysitting group within my Girl Scouts club, where we charged fees to provide training for other kids interested in learning how to care for younger children. This initiative not only helped us develop our skills but also fostered a sense of community and support among peers. I am excited about the opportunity to create a safe, fun, and educational environment for your children. Thank you for considering me as your babysitter! I am confident that my skills and dedication will make a positive impact on your family.
