My love for working with children is deeply ingrained in my belief that every child deserves to be nurtured, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive. There is something incredibly rewarding about witnessing the curiosity, imagination, and boundless potential that children possess. I am drawn to their innocence, their genuine curiosity about the world, and their ability to see things with fresh perspectives. Having been involved in various leadership roles and community initiatives focused on children, such as Panther Buddies and Juniors and the Disability Student Services Board, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the transformative power of mentorship and advocacy in shaping young lives. Whether it's guiding students through the intake process for disability services or coaching a Special Olympics team to success, I find immense joy in being a positive influence and helping children realize their strengths and capabilities. Through my academic background in English and Read more Biology, I bring a unique blend of creativity and scientific understanding to my interactions with children, allowing me to engage them in diverse ways and foster a love for learning. Ultimately, my passion for working with children stems from a deep-seated desire to make a difference in their lives, empowering them to overcome challenges, pursue their dreams, and become confident, compassionate individuals.
