I moved to McKinney in the fall of 2013. For the 2013-2014 school year, I was employed by McKinney ISD as a substitute teacher. By choice, I only worked with elementary aged children. What enjoyed most about subbing is that every day was different and every child was different. I had the opportunity to meet, and in some cases, get to know many children. I moved here from New York. I earned my teaching certificate in New York in early childhood education. I am currently working on obtaining my Texas certificate. I spent most of my summers as a teenager caring for my younger brother as well as other children. In 2004, my nephew was born. I would watch him as much as my school schedule was allowed while his mother worked. I never considered it work. It has been one my greatest pleasures watching that boy grow up. I Read more also coached middle school aged girls in New York. I coached softball, soccer, and I helped out with basketball. I love to be outside and I love playing games and sports. It would be my pleasure to watch your children.
