Hi, my name is Adrienne. I’m originally from Mexico City, and I’ve lived in the U.S. for the past 25 years in cities like Chicago, San Francisco, Miami, and Houston. I’m fluent in both Spanish and English. I understand English much better than I speak it, but I read and write it very well. I’ve worked as a translator and as a Spanish teacher for both children and adults. When it comes to childcare, my most important experience has been as a mom. I raised four wonderful kids (three boys and one girl) and was a full-time stay-at-home parent until three of them went off to college. During those years, I did everything from homeschooling for a couple of years, organizing field trips, managing sports, parties, doctor’s visits, and daily routines. One of my children also went through leukemia treatment, and I was in charge of his medications and hospital Read more visits, which gave me an even deeper appreciation for patience, care, and attentiveness. Outside of raising my own kids, I’ve occasionally babysat for neighbors, family, and friends. But I bring decades of hands-on childcare experience across every stage -from infants to teenagers. I truly love spending time with kids, and now that most of mine are grown, I’d be happy to help care for yours, preferably during the day, as I also need to take care of my youngest son. I’m available weekdays (except most weekends and holidays). I fully appreciate the daily balance of work, activities, and family life. It would be a joy to help take care of your child.
