My name is Chelsea and I'm a mother with experience in caring for others children as if they are my own. When I'm not teaching age appropriate activities for children, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family which includes my fiancé and my 3 boys and my parents. I'm a very family oriented person and believe strongly in teaching children from birth on up. Children learn from their experiences and exploring the world around them so it's very important to let them learn through play with age appropriate activities. I have an Associates Degree in Child Development with experience working with infants to school age. I became a preschool teacher because I have a love for teaching and having a close relationship with the children and families that I have had the pleasure of working with and watching them grow and develop. My primary experience come from working with HeadStart of Greater Dallas Early HeadStart program and their home-based program here in Dallas and working with PICA HeadStart in Minnesota with preschoolers. I was a home base teacher that visited the homes of my children ages birth to 3. My primary job was to teach the parents how to teach their children and get them ready for preschool entry. I love teaching and learning from the children that I have been fortunate to care for. I have my First aid and CPR and it's current. I'm currently a Pre-K teacher who teaches 4/5 year olds.
