Hi! My name is Megan Johnson. I am 28 years old and work as a middle school teacher in Midlothian.  I would love to sit for your kiddos while I’m on summer break! I became a caregiver because I love kids. I like being a role model and having a positive impact on kids’ lives. I also enjoy getting to know the families of the children I care for. Being a caregiver feels natural since I grew up in a large family with 3 sisters, and we all are/were babysitters.  I am comfortable changing diapers, taking care of pets (major dog lover), saying "no", organizing and cleaning, driving kids around, and cooking.   Over 10 Years of Experience - Middle history teacher/One Act Play director school for 6 years. -Served as a camp counselor the last 2 summers working with kids from ages 0-18. -Worked as a Pre-K teacher at Read more my college 'home' church; creating age appropriate lessons and activities. -Babysat baby boy from the age 5 months-10 months 3x/week during the summer while doing light household chores, and taking care of 3 dogs -Sat for neighborhood family and friends for 8 years -Served for 4 years watching kids in the church nursery, where I would play, read, and sing with kids ages infant-5 years old.   -Led Vacation Bible School for 6 years where I supervised assigned age group 12 and under -Served on 2 mission trips at a government housing daycare. Cared for infant to 12 years old, doing indoor and outdoor activities, sharing the word of God, and serving the Lord.
