The experience I have working with children range from the infant years all the way to 5th grade, including special needs. My first job was working at a top Montessori school and daycare. This is where I learned how to be advocates to young children to help them be more independent and help with social skills. After being there for 4 years, I decided I needed more of a change especially since I had just earned my degree in early childhood education. I currently work at Lakeshore elementary as a paraprofessional in the special education department. Thos experience has shaped me into the person I am with working with all children no matter what they are labeled as.
