Hello! My name is Stephanie Linan and I am a future educator. I will be graduating next year with a Fine Arts Degree and Art EC-12 Certification from UHCL. Yes art! I love working with kids and helping them express themselves creatively. I love early childhood. I worked at the Wiggle Room in Pasadena for 5 years. I was the lead teacher in the 1yo - 2yo room for the first 3 years and then the lead teacher in the infant room for the last 2yrs. My philosophy in the classroom was always to create an environment that made the children in my care feel safe in order to encourage exploration and promote learning. While I loved the feeling of community working there, I was offered an opportunity to paint and after 5 years there I felt it was the better choice for me and my future. I don’t have much experience on this platform but anything you need me to do just communicate to me and I’ll help where I can. I am also CPR certified and have worked with children with special needs, and I love animals. I have two small dogs, Bruce and Wiley and a cat named Kitty.
