I have worked at a daycare while I was home in New Jersey which is still technically my "seasonal job." I have worked with ages 3 months up to 4 years old. I am currently CPR and AED certified, but I will definitely need a renewal soon. I enjoy taking care of children and getting to help with their development. I enjoy creating activities for them to do, reading, helping with any type of homework, and just overall being there to keep them company and being their safe haven. I believe that it is my job to take care of them and make sure they are safe. I have also worked with children with special needs and although it can be challenging, I am definitely not afraid to make sure they get the same treatment and make sure they are happy.
