I knew Melanie would be a great fit for our family when she was able to calm my fussy 10 month old while I was still home! She is communicative, caring, and is great with my special needs baby. We also love that she is so great with our high energy dog. I’m so happy we found her!

Why Do I Love Being a Sitter? I love being a sitter because it gives me the chance to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children. As a mother of one daughter who is now out of state attending dental school, I’ve always found caring for children incredibly fulfilling. Having just one child has made me treasure the opportunity to nurture and connect with kids, which is why babysitting feels so rewarding to me. Building trust with both children and parents is something I deeply value. What Experience Do I Have? I have extensive experience caring for children and also have a background in caring for the elderly, which has taught me patience, empathy, and responsibility. I’ve worked with children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids, and I’m confident in managing their daily routines, ensuring their safety, and making their day enjoyable. What Skills and Training Do I Have? I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy incorporating it into caregiving, whether it’s helping bilingual families or teaching children basic words. While I’m still improving my English, I can communicate well and ensure clear understanding with both children and parents. I’m currently working on reactivating my CPR certification to ensure I’m always prepared. My skills include safely driving kids to and from school or activities, engaging in creative play, and assisting with light housework to help keep things running smoothly at home. I’m excited to bring dedication, care, and enthusiasm to your family!

Gabriela has been taking care of our 2 children (3 and 6) for almost 1 year and she's been absolutely amazing. We were lucky to find her shortly after moving to Austin with no family to lean on: dependable, affectionate, and always accommodating, she quickly got up to speed with the child care duties and our entire family grew incredibly fond of her. Our children at times would cry when her shift ended and didn't want to let her leave. This tells you all there is to know. We highly recommend Gabriela to any family looking for a trusted, caring sitter.

I love working with kids. I’ve been babysitting for over six years and also gained experience caring for children at a play center. I enjoy playing, coloring, singing, dancing—anything that brings a smile to a child’s face. I recently graduated from the University of Arkansas in May, and am working towards becoming a pediatrician. Babysitting is a wonderful way for me to continue building skills that will prepare me for that career.

Evie has been great with our newborn and 2 year old. She is warm, friendly, and dependable. She loves reading books with the kids and helps out with mealtime. Our kids don’t cry when we leave, they’re happy to see her, and they’re just as happy and content when we get home. We trust her with our boys and would recommend her to any family.

I love being a nanny because I really enjoy being around children. Actually, that's an understatement. I have so much fun being with children. They bring me so much joy. Children adore me and feel comfortable and safe with me. I love to play with them, watch them learn new things, and watch their personalities develop. I have been caring for children for 23 years. I started out at Newell Daycare in Iowa and I worked there for 3 years. I left that position because I moved to Texas to be with my family. I then worked at Treehouse Kids in Pflugerville for 10 years. I left Treehouse kids because I felt like the only thing I was able to do with the children was feed them, change their diapers, and make sure they were safe. I wanted to do more with my children and the number of children I worked with was just too many for that. I then transitioned to a nanny position. At my first job as a nanny I worked with two school aged children. I picked them up at the YMCA, took them home, played with them and read them books until their parents arrived. I also took them to their after school activities such as swimming and music classes. I worked with that family for 3 months until the children went back to school. After that position I worked with a toddler and a 4 year old for 2.5 years. I lost that job due to COVID. Then at my last nanny position I took care of a 4 month old until he was 4.5 years old. While working with this family they had another baby and I took care of that baby from since he was an infant until he turned 2.5 years old. I worked with this family for 4.5 years. I still work with the family from time to time but my full-time position there ended on May of 2025. I have a high school diploma. I am both first-aid and CPR certified. I am patient and kind. I am trilingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. English is my first language. I am dependable and responsible. I have my own reliable vehicle and insurance. I am skilled in caring for children from infancy until 10 years old. I am able to work with up to 4 children at a time and I can also tend to animals.

A while ago, I had the pleasure of working with Valeria, and I still remember how wonderful the experience was. She was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to every little detail. From the very beginning, she made everything feel easy and comfortable, and you could truly see the passion she has for what she does. What stood out the most was her dedication and warm personality — she goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Even now, when I look back, I feel grateful that I had the chance to work with someone so genuine and talented. If you ever get the opportunity to work with Valeria, you’ll understand exactly what I mean. Highly recommended. ✨?

Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I am a dependable, patient, and caring babysitter with many years of hands-on childcare experience. I genuinely love working with children and creating a safe, happy, and loving environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. I understand how important it is for parents to trust the person caring for their children, and I always strive to be someone both parents and kids can feel completely comfortable with. I am very attentive and always make safety my top priority while still making sure children are having fun, staying engaged, and feeling loved during my care. Whether it’s helping with meals, playtime, bedtime routines, homework, keeping little ones entertained, or simply being a calm and supportive presence, I always put my full attention into the families I work with. I have experience caring for children of different ages and am comfortable watching multiple children at once. I understand that every child has a different personality and different needs, so I always try to be patient, understanding, and adaptable to what helps each child feel happiest and safest. For added peace of mind, I am CPR and First Aid certified and also have background checks available directly on my profile. I take being trusted with someone’s children very seriously and always work hard to provide reliable, responsible, and loving care. I also have several strong references from families I’ve worked with and would be more than happy to share them upon request. I would love the opportunity to help care for your little ones and become someone your family can rely on and trust!

Alyssa is very friendly and professional. She was very good with our 2,3 & 10 year old. It was clear she has experience with kids, and is able to handle unexpected situations like accidents and tantrums. At the end of the evening, she cleaned up after our kids and cleaned their dishes after feeding them. This was not expected, but was a great surprise. I highly recommend her, and we will be having her back!

Hi Parents! If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, dedicated young nanny, i’d like to introduce myself! I have looked after my two younger siblings since I was 8/yo & started babysitting outside of the house since the age of 16. I wanted to find a job where I could be supportive, creative, and be genuinely happy with what I was engaging my energy and time with. Last year I decided to take it to another step and be a live in nanny! I’ve have experience with the ages 2 to 12 years and up with three kids at a time. My interests are art, dance, nature, photography, I like contemplating them as much as I can when working; crafts, learning techniques/games, dancing & of course also learning and taking part of activities your children enjoy! Hope to hear from you soon, thank you!
