In 2023, I began teaching art classes to elementary school children through Young Rembrandts. Last summer, I took on a new role as a preschool teacher. Since then, I’ve continued my teaching with the addition of babysitting on the side. Both jobs have been a total joy. I’m an engaged caretaker who can play for hours, but I always make sure to sneak in some educational content. It’s really important for me to get kids moving and learning. I love to sing, dance, play make believe, read, watch movies, cook, clean, and learn about the world around us. My name is Lynn and I am a mother of two children in college. I have lived in Austin for 28 years and had been a stay at home mom. I have plenty experience in the field of children know matter what age or stage your child is approaching. I am a very warm hearted energetic person who enjoys helping others! I benefit from exercising whether it’s at the gym or outdoors, working in the yard or walking with the dogs, children or neighbors. I had been a volunteer at St. David’s Hospital, NAMC 2017-2023 at the main entrance front registration desk. I was also a part time nanny for a baby boy from July 2022-November 2022 until he reached eight months when he entered daycare. January -March 2023 I was helping many families with one -time temporary nanny jobs. April-December 2023 I nannied for a two year old boy and a four year old girl. In January-July 2024 my clientele kept me very busy with kids of all ages. August-December 2024 I nannied a four month old until he started daycare in 2025. Since January 2025, I have been nannying for a family with a four month old until she starts daycare in September 2025. Now that my kids are in college, I have a flexible schedule and love to spend time with the young ones.

I have been sitting for them ever since. They have four kids. A 12 year old girl, an 8 year old boy, 10 year old boy, and 4 year old boy. They also have a dog I look after. The kids are wonderful!  I play different games with the kids, encourage them to go on walks or we walk to different trails. I get them fed and to bed. I also help them with homework if there is a need. This has been one of my greatest babysitting experiences. The kids and parents are so sweet. My parents have even become friends with the Dirobo’s over the years.             June ’03-August ‘06            Judge Ditta’s Family For the Ditta family, I babysat 3 girls on a very regular basis, before I left Houston for college. The children were 2, 4, and 6 years old whenever I first babysat them. I helped the kids understand their homework, took them to dance practice, prepared their meals, cleaned up around the house, and put them to bed. I had a blast playing games, house, dancing around, swimming, and doing arts and crafts with the girls.
