Hello, My name is Elizabeth, I am LVN seeking work in the Austin area. My professional experience spans working with clients ranging in age from newborn to 107 years old, with a wide variety of needs in several different settings. I got my start in the healthcare field as a CNA at a LTCF in Michigan in 2001, and later completed LVN school at Weatherford college in 2008. I have since provided end of life care to my own very young, very ill mother; apprenticed under a nationally respected midwife here in central Texas; worked as an in home respite nurse for a special needs child through the end of his short, fragile life; and have monitored and assisted several patients through opiate withdrawal and detox at a local harm reduction clinic. I truly enjoy meeting people where they're at and helping them through their own unique process. I am Read more also a Reiki Master and a massage therapy student at Lauterstein-Conway. I have continuously studied and use aromatherapy, homeopathy, herbal remedies and whole food nutrition in my home for over two decades. My family and I love spending time outdoors, doing arts and crafts, cooking, and traveling together. I have experience performing blood draws, possess basic medical office skills- including insurance billing and EMR; enjoy educating/coaching patients, and am highly intuitive and empathic.
