I love kids! I think children are little humans that need a good, nurturing, and patient environment to help them grow into well rounded human beings that will help the next generation make a much more balanced world. Since moving to Austin, I have been working as a weekly sitter for a beautiful family. Unfortunately, my family moved away and I want to get back into full time meaningful work, preferably a full time nanny position. I have professional experience with children ranging from 6 months to 10 years. I have experience in homework help, tutoring, meal preparation, housekeeping and scheduling busy lives. I'm patient and understanding with children, especially those having a hard time. I've taken what I have learned in years of therapy for myself and years of play therapy for my son and have been able to apply that knowledge to my career as a nanny. I Read more understand different parenting styles and I am great at adapting to different rules and environments. I also am a single parent so I know the struggle of balancing parenting and work life or even alone time! My goal is to help parents feel at ease with their childcare and housekeeping so that they may tackle on whatever else needs to be done with as little stress as possible.
