I’m a dedicated nanny whose professional experience with children goes back 6 years. Starting with a 3 month old boy whom I have nannied, and still help out with at almost 7 years old. I have watched kids from the ages of infancy to 13 with many different backgrounds and disabilities. Some of these include cerebral palsy, mild autism, and ADHD. I am passionate about helping kids and find my strong suit in developing independence, confidence and learning to self regulate their emotions. I have multiple techniques to help with the strong emotions that often occur with little ones and have great confidence in implementing them. I have helped to set up schedules for parents to help with the daily struggles of life. I love to teach an abundance of materials from basic knowledge to fine motor skills and even speech development. My style of teaching is definitely gentle and patient. I’m 1 of 4 kids and have always loved helping out around the house and with my siblings when I was younger, so it’s something I’ve always enjoyed! We have so many young kids in the family so I’ve been babysitting and helping out for as long as I can remember! My sister had Retts Syndrome, which left her completely bed bound and dependent on someone else, on top of having frequent seizures. My mom did all the work with her for so long and as I got older I began to help her out and learned until I was fully capable of doing everything/anything she needed.
