Hello my name is Jayzhia, age 20, and I attend Arlington Baptist College where I compete in Volleyball as well as Basketball. However, while living in Arlington I also reside in Plano, Tx. I am majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies, which will hopefully lead me to a teaching career soon! I have been paid to nanny a 7 year old boy and his infant sister in the summer of 2015 where I cooked, cleaned, did house keeping, chauffeured, and traveled with the family to Florida for their family vacation. This past summer I looked after a 5 year old girl, and her 10 year old brother with two completely different personalities, and loved being with them daily. I have always babysat different aged children over the years for family and friends. I also have about 6 years of home experience due to living with my niece, who now suffers from some Read more brain damage and physical impairments from a wreck in November 2015. I have volunteered at summer basketball camps, the boys and girls club, as well as my church with children of different ages as well. Overall, being with kids is something I love to do, because of the energy and fun they bring. I will be home from May to August, before returning to school, and I would love to help families during this summer season! Most children that I have encountered grew very fond of me, look up to me, and love when I'm around. I am comfortable with providing transportation, date-night sitting, play dates, summer care, and teaching environments. I'm excited about about meeting great families with even greater kids! We have used Jayzhia several times to babysit our 3 elementary age children for events/date night. My kids love her and they always have fun. She comes on time, understands the instructions, communicates well in person and prior to a job via phone or text, and responds in a timely manner, the house is always in good condition when we return. She has a very nice disposition. She really impressed us when she was not available once and recommended a friend (who was also great), then followed up the next day with us on our experience with her friend! To me it showed that not only does she care about the families she works with, but she is a true professional. We have every intention to continue to use Jayzhia as our occasional sitter and recommend her highly.
