Whenever I am at Filipino parties, I tend to take on the role of the "babysitter" while the parents talk amongst themselves. Being the oldest gave me the responsibility to be on the lookout for littler ones. I also used to watch my little brother at home (7 years younger) whenever my parents went out. These experiences taught me the responsibilities of looking after my younger peers, and I am now seeking babysitting jobs during weekends as a full-time college student.
