Hello Everyone! My name is Ojiugo Igwe. Here's Just a little about myself! I was born in London and moved to Dallas when I was 10. I am the oldest of 4 children and have grew up taking care of them I even took a babysitting course in high school to equip myself to do so. I am still regularly asked to look after my cousins or family friends when needed. I did my undergrad at the University of Rochester and got my B.S in Neuroscience and a minor in Social Psychology. I went to Graduate School at Drexel where I got my M.S. I am currently an Optometry Student and am off this whole summer so I have a lot of flexibility. I am just not available on Thursday's afternoons because I have to go into lab from 12-4. Other than that I have no obligations. I was residential Read more advisor during my undergraduate years. I worked as a mentor and residential advisor to teenagers in a program based in Los Angeles to help them apply to college the summer after I graduated. During graduate school, I volunteered as a mentor during my time in Philadelphia for adolescent girls. After graduate school, I worked as the sole Clinical Research Coordinator in Dallas to recruit children a for a virtual reality - ADHD study. At the same time I worked as a Certified Personal Trainer so I am very passionate about health and fitness. I believe I have a vey diverse and unique background relevant to child care the I know will be beneficial! I am looking forward to meeting and working with you!
