Hi! My name is Maddie and I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Dallas studying Business Administration with an emphasis in sales. Growing up with four younger siblings naturally gave me an early start to care giving and now having over ten years of experience, caring for children of nearly age. Specifically, I have a lot of practice caring for infants starting as young as an 8 days old and have also cared for several special needs children with autism and Down syndrome. Over the years I have babysat numerous families with up to six children, babysat overnight for families several times up to two weeks while the parents were out of the country. I have always loved kids and getting the opportunity to become a caregiver has not only given me an income throughout college but also an outlet to do what I love, spending Read more time and caring for kids. I am not CPR certified but was 4 years ago, I just have not renewed it. A child I watched this last six months with down syndrome frequently choked on his food (2x a week) due to his inability to swallow so I am very comfortable giving the Heimlich Maneuver.
