Hello Families!😊 My name is Mary. I love kids. Ever since I was one myself I would love to babysit, whether it was my baby cousins, my moms friends kids, the kids at church, or my very own baby brother, babysitting, watching over, protecting and just having fun with kids has always been the one thing I am always happy doing. No matter how shy, energetic, or playful a child can be they always put a smile on my face, speaking with them, either calming them down or appropriately correcting them on anything, has always been something I have been good at. I sometimes feel like I was made for it lol. I've always been someone who is patient, compassionate and empathetic so I believe that plays a big role in my connection to children. I love bringing kids out their shell and allowing them to feel like they’re in Read more a comfortable space to be themselves. I love music and dancing with kids and I do a lot of dance competitions with my baby brother ( which I win all the time btw) I also love, painting and doing active crafts with kids. Taking children outside and allowing them to get active is also something I think is important too and is already something I corporate in my everyday life. My experience consists of helping my aunt take care of kids at her day care almost everyday after school in high school. I was also an assistant caretaker at my church and would watch over the little kids at youth group. I was recently a previous caretaker for a five month old (whom I miss very much) and I did that for about four months two days every week, I had to resign due to me relocating. I've been taking care of my 4 year old baby brother since he was born, My mom would only allow me out of all my sisters to change his diapers when he was a new born baby and till this day only trusts me to watch over him when she’s not home possibly because she knows I’m a person that is patient and doesn’t get annoyed by children but instead intrigued. I was trained CPR certified when I was 14 and still remember how to perform it although I am currently working to get my certification renewed. and I am able to cook, clean and do any other necessary tasks needed.
