Hi! My name is Arriana, I have always been passionate about working with kids and am currently 9 months into at my current daycare. I have two siblings of my own who I looked after as a kid but they’re now both older (ages 12 and 18 now). Most of my babysitting experience is from watching family friends and siblings but i've worked in two separate daycares prior to the one im at currently as well. I am looking to babysit for one family as it is easier for me physically due to having a dynamic disability but it doesn't stop me from caring for the child nor stop me from doing my job to the fullest in any way and id be more than happy to talk further with any family interested in me as a sitter about it! I love every kid i care for like my own, Read more I will always put the child's safety above all but still have fun with the child. A large perk of mine is that I am extremely well knowledgeable on the way a child's brain works and develops, so i'm extremely patient and know ways to help kids struggling with emotional regulation or "bad behavior" but I personally dont call it “bad behavior” because most times kids are trying to communicate and dont know how to do so. I have worked with kids with autism and adhd, and I myself am also neurodivergent so i'm really good at understanding it. I can work with both boys or girls, and im perfectly fine with changing diapers or helping potty train if needed. I truly have a passion for this line of work, I just sadly got hit with an illness that impacted my life making it difficult to enjoy what I do without pushing myself to far physically. I am CPR certified and have all the certifications needed to work in a daycare so i've done: maltreatment training, EPI pen training, seizure training, food training, proper protocols, alongside more.
