During high school I consistently for 3 years nannied for a family friend who has 4 children ages 4-17 I was able to care for the children in the way that the mother and father preferred. This included but not limited to, cleaning, feeding, changing, homework/school work help, mentor, role model and other tasks given to me by the mother. Due to relocation and Job change the distance would have been to far to travel everyday to nanny for this family. I love children and currently am working for CITY YEAR as a full time tutor/mentor/role model for students are at risk of dropping out. We focus on keeping students in school and on track to graduation. I think that being in that type of environment and trainings I receive from my job I am able to work with children effectively.
