Hello! My name is Lesley, I have about 2.5 years working with children. I have been working as a behavior therapist for children with autism up until a few months ago. I have taken care of kids who have frequent tantrums to kids who are just happy playing alone. I like to keep play fun while also aiding in children's development by encouraging appropriate communication. Teaching children communication and how to regulate their emotions was a HUGE part of my job. I also have experience teaching kids to advocate for themselves but I am also firm when a kiddo needs to do something (clean up, brush teeth, etc.). I stepped out of the field to have a more flexible schedule but still love working with children! I would love to help out with child care during date nights, etc.! I have a CPR certification as well.
