I have never been hired as a caregiver before, but I am very experienced when it comes to giving care. I am currently 18 years old, and I am the older brother to a sister (14) with social anxiety disorders and a younger brother (9) with severe learning disorders. I currently live in San Marcos, TX, attending Texas State University, but I am moving back to Dallas to take care of my mother who has been diagnosed with cancer. I need to earn some extra money on the side to pay for my own upkeep, and I believe that care-giving is the best vocation for me. I am excellent with pets as well. We have had three dogs in the family and a large fish tank. I have held other occupations such as cashier, busboy, and ticket salesman, and I am a very hard worker. It is my wish to pursue and masters degree and some day become a teacher. In high school, I ran cross country and track and played soccer. I am very outgoing and full of energy, but I know when to be laid-back and relaxed. I know that I am young, but perhaps that is the best reason for hiring me.
