Hey, I’m Jae! I’m 21, originally from Oklahoma but moved to Texas in 2020. I’m a creative soul who loves working on projects in my craft room. When I’m not crafting, I’m taking care of energetic kiddos! I enjoy keeping them entertained with arts and crafts, science experiments, outdoor activities, and even impromptu dance parties! I’m passionate about educating children and love making learning fun with interactive reading, math games, and or exploring nature and science through hands-on activities. Watching kids learn and grow is so rewarding, and I aim to make every lesson exciting! In my free time, I enjoy getting creative with makeup and nails. I’m all about exploring new places, diving into video games, and conquering board games! I also love getting lost in a good book or movie, especially with a plot twist. MORE ABOUT ME| Relevant experience where I also cared for children: While younger I would babysit and volunteer for a family owned daycare. Once I graduated high school I worked as a nanny for about a year. Then, I transitioned to a full time teacher at Primrose schools. I am now a lead toddler teacher. Activities I enjoy doing with children: As far as indoor activities go my all time favorite activity is crafting or being creative with the kiddos. It’s fun and interactive way to keep the children engaged and learning. I'm also a huge fan of reading and games! For outdoor activities I would have to say going to the park or somewhere with water in the warmer months! My favorite caregiver moment: Laughing and joking around with my work kiddos! And when my work kiddos tell me they love me! <3 The most important part about being a caregiver: Making a connection with the kids. While I am there to provide care for the children, making a connection with them is the most important. I was a daycare kid growing up and one of the biggest things I remember was the connection I made with my teachers. They were like family and I still remember them to this day.
