Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and see if I could be a good fit for your family! I'm seeking a full-time house manager or nanny position. I've worked with children for over nineteen years and have a combined experience of twelve years in administrative, customer service, and managerial roles. I was a dedicated caregiver for fifteen years at Freedom Center Church, and have three years experience providing in-home childcare as a nanny with driving responsibilities, meal prep, and homework help. One of the children I cared for was on the autism spectrum which was a rewarding experience. Learning about his needs and finding ways to connect and build trust with him was the most positive challenge in my many years as a caregiver. Other responsibilities included managing electronic files, utilizing various software to facilitate residential gate access for multiple communities, and drafting community newsletter articles, letters, and other communications. I am organized, computer literate, and adept at learning new systems. Additionally, I have over eight years of experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments, one of which was in a managerial capacity, which required a high level of organization, quick thinking, listening ears, and a great deal of tact when handling escalated customer concerns. This experience has helped me hone my skills in customer care as well as my ability to thrive in high-pressure situations. In my current role at Grimaldi's, I run a busy salad and dessert bar in addition to preparing a variety of cold food items within food safety guidelines, and I make and bake our house-made cheesecakes. My hope is that these practical skills I have gained through my previous job positions, along with my determination and friendly demeanor, make me a great fit. I have also developed a strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity which I believe will be helpful to my success.
