I am the oldest of four children and started babysitting at age 12. Over the years I have been a babysitter for up to 8 kids at a time, newborns, and done overnight/full weekend care. I have been a full time nanny for 3 yr old triplets and their 8 yr old sister. I have worked in various day cares and preschools. I am now a certified Early Childhood and Elementary school teacher and spent six years teaching before I decided to stay home with my children (ages 3 and 17 months). I believe in providing an atmosphere that encourages learning so I limit screen time. We prefer to play outside, play games, use our imaginations, read books and do crafts.
