I am a 61 year old grandmother of 3 beautiful girls that I am blessed to have strong relationships with. The most important things in my life are my faith and my family. I started babysitting when I was 12 and have continue that off and on during my adulthood. I love children and they seem to be attracted to me. I enjoy playing games and try to find ways to teach them without them realizing it. I have retired from an 19 year career as a 911, Police/fire/rescue dispatcher. With that said, I am trained to handle emergencies in a calm manner. In addition to being certified in CPR and first aid, I am also a certified EMT Basic level. I am very careful not to let the little ones do anything that will hurt them, but am trained to handle the situation if accidents happen. I am a Read more Christian woman and currently involved in our children’s ministry at my church. I have served in my churches nursery along with watching my friends children when needed. I am looking for a weekday sitter position, and am available some evenings and weekends. I prefer to watch 1 or 2 children at a time as I can give more individual attention, but will watch up to 4 depending on age.
