Hi! My name is Elissa,, and I have been passionate about helping children with special needs for almost 10 years! I started working as a classroom assistant in the special needs classroom at my middle school, and continued that role until high school graduation. I have volunteered for three years alongside my church group at Breckenridge Village in Tyler, Texas, which is a living community for individuals with special needs. Additionally, I have three years of experience as a nanny and tutor for two siblings with learning and behavioral delays. I have completed training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, and have used that hands-on experience as an in-home caregiver for a company named Touching Hearts at Home since February, but I am now looking for a position that allows me to work with children with special needs again! I am CPR and first aid certified as well!
