I started working with children in 2019 and have about 3 years paid experience in childcare. I worked at Handprints Academy located in Hewitt, TX as a teacher for 2 years with age groups ranging from 6 weeks to 12 year olds. I then had the opportunity to advance my career and started a job at Provident Heights Elementary in Waco, TX, as a behavioral aide. In that role, I addressed behavior management safety, supported emotional & social needs, gave academic support, and implement behavioral improvement plans. After becoming a mom, I began working remotely. I am a first time mom to my now 1 year old son. He is my entire world. After having a child of my own, working in childcare made me appreciate having the experience that I do.
