I am 21 years old and am expecting a little one of my own in March! I have cared for multiple kids from 2014-now ranging from infants-8year olds! I love kids and how full of life they are! I figured this would help me more prepare for my little one and become a full time job until then! Can’t wait to meet you and your families!

After our first meetings and conversations, and even after our first day with her, she was absolutely great. I would have given her as many stars as possible. She was super sweet and great with my kids. However, on the second day she expressed that it was not a good fit because my kids were not letting her 4-month-old sleep (whom she was allowed to bring with her, and whom she claimed she could handle in addition to my kids), that my 15-month-old was putting the baby's toys in his mouth and spilled her formula when she was not looking. How that is my son's fault, I could not tell you. Sounds like an adult issue to me. Then she expressed that she was unsatisfied with the pay schedule that she agreed to beforehand, turning that around on me as if she had not been informed. Lastly, she was not satisfied with how we accommodated her daughter's appointment at the end of the day. She gave us three different times at which she needed to leave, verbally and through text, and my husband still made sure to leave work early to allow her to make it (an appointment that she told me about the night before, her daughter was sick, and life happens, so we made sure to accommodate her). Apparently that was not good enough. All this could have been communicated in an adult-like phone conversation. However, she chose to detail all of this in a very worded text message while I was still at work. I did my best to accommodate Bailey as a mother. Shure she offered to stay the rest of the week, but who wants someone watching their children when they have a list of complaints about your children being loud, getting into things they should not be, making a mess, and putting things in their mouths. This sounds just like kids to me. Mind you, my kids are under 3, so this is just baffling to me. She clearly took on more than she could handle, did not listen when we initially spoke about the details of pay, and then turned that around on me. This was all on the second day of work. So if you hire her, make sure you ask her how she would like to be accommodated, otherwise she will not be sticking around.
