Meet Emma

I’m a Waco local, currently studying ecology and conservation biology at Texas A&M University in College Station. As I am here for the summer, I am currently working part-time at the Dr Pepper Museum and taking online summer courses. I like staying productive so I hope to babysit some in order to connect with more local families as well as gaining even more experience for when I go back to College Station. Throughout high school, I was a member of the Cameron Park Zoo Crew where I both worked with the summer camps with ages ranging from 3 to 12 years old and with the zookeepers in all departments of the zoo. This is what sparked my love of conservation as well as education. I am confident in handling large groups of children, and I have had experience in my church at FBC Waco as well along with more spur-of-the-moment Read more babysitting with local friends and family. I am well-trained in animal care as well, ranging from cats and dogs to all sorts of exotic animals such as snakes, alligators, and opossums. Any animal care and/or handling is something I both enjoy and am confident in. I’m excited and eager to have more babysitting opportunities for this summer and in the future
