Allegra H.

I hired Allegra for an important event at work that I am required to be present for, and my boss went to the trouble of inviting my husband. Allegra agreed to the price I could pay and said she way available for the timeframe I needed. In fact, she made a point of saying that is was really no problem at all because she doesn't have a full-time job at the moment and had no serious conflicts. Two hours before she was supposed to come, she texted me and said she would be 20 minutes late because she had to pick up her mother from the train station. When I explained to her that I needed to leave at a certain time, and asked her if she could please be on time, she shut off her phone and stopped responding to my attempts to speak with her. I am extremely disappointed, as she seemed like a nice person who would be a great caretaker for my children. I have never had a babysitter treat our family this way, and it was very unprofessional to just stop responding to me instead of having a conversation so we could try and work something out. Additionally, as this was a work event I got in trouble with my boss. I would not hire her if you need someone reliable.

I was a little nervous leaving my 6 week old with a sitter for the first time, but Allegra did a great job. She kept us up to date on feedings and when we got home our daughter was fast asleep.
