To be ever so slightly reductive about things, I recently completed my first official childcare job when a family friend (whose contact information is reflected in my references/work experience, where applicable. For the sake of completeness) when she needed a sitter for her two year old granddaughter on short notice. Though this job was a one-off, off-the-cuff arrangement, it went swimmingly and has thoroughly cemented my interest in the childcare field in general. More recently I was charged with looking after the one-year-old and twenty-one-month-old sons of two other family friends whilst they were occupied at a social gathering, during which my performance was evidently satisfactory enough to warrant repeated, overwhelming thanks on the part of my erstwhile 'clients' afterwords. Though I am still just starting off in terms of personal experience, I have undergone training in childcare, developmental psychology, CPR, and First Aid. I am currently operating out of Read more Durant, Oklahoma (74701) during the week, as this is where I'm attending college, and out of Wylie, Texas (75098) on the weekends and over the holidays.
