I have a strong and extensive background in customer service and have worked as retail management for over 12 years. In a retail atmosphere you definitely have to be sharp, willing to "roll with the punches", keep your composure in high stress situations. I feel the same attributes apply in child care. I have been babysitting/nannying my entire life, I'm the oldest grandchild on one side so I've been watching my cousins, niece, and nephew since I was 10 years old. I would spend my summer out of high school and college working in child care as well. I enjoy outdoor activities, art, music and am not a fan of technology when it comes to interacting with children.
