I first started caring for children in 2001 when my two children were in kindergarten and preschool. I quit my job as a full time Concierge at a Las Vegas resort to be a stay at home mom. I was asked by my daughters school teacher who was almost due at this time with her second if I would ever consider in home daycare. When I agreed to do this for her I told her I wanted to do it right and make it a business and long term. My home and myself was approved by the city of Las Vegas. I only watched school teachers children and I never took on more than 3 full time and 2-3 part time. I wanted to be able to give each one individual attention. The ages I cared for were 2 months to 8 years. I loved being able to do this Read more and be at home when my own children got out of school. Most of the families that signed up with me, stayed with me for the 6 years that I had my business. I continued my nanny/family assistant experience when we moved to the bay area of CA. I mostly cared for infants, infant twins, but I did also work at a family assistant/nanny for a family with 5 children ages 7-18. I love being apart of the children's life, helping them learn and grow and becoming their friend. I am CPR certified, first aid certified, infant care certified, and I am a member of the National Nanny Association.
