My professional background includes Early Childhood Education with over 10 years experience. I owned and operated a nursery school in Foxborough, Massachusetts for 5 years. I continued with infant care at BRIGHT HORIZONS, FAMILY SOLUTIONS a Fortune 100 company when I moved to Virginia. Training includes CPR with infant, child and adult protocols. I studied nursing for two years, and have maintained my Certified Nursing Assistant license. This certification is current, and offers a reciprocity clause for the state of Utah. As a nursing student, I worked as a CNA in a senior retirement community. I provided care for patients that were wheel chair bound, hospice and palliative care. My very first patient there had succumbed to a stroke and had advanced stages of dementia and eventually Alzheimer's. Currently, I work as a nanny, for a military family here in Norfolk.
