My name is Makenna. I love working with kids and plan to get an early childhood education degree. I have already taken many classes on safety for children, ways to be creative with learning and have had lots of experience with kids. Growing up my mom was a special education teacher which helped to instill in me a love for teaching. I have been peer tutoring since elementary school and have used that experience to work in a preschool, along with providing babysitting and nannying care. I have also had experience tutoring elementary aged children in math and have taught piano lessons for about a year. Other jobs I’ve had include cleaning peoples houses, preparing meals and doing outdoor work.
