Hi There, My name is JIll and I am in my first quarter of nursing school at Denver School of Nursing, graduating September 2016. For the last ten years I have worked in the non-profit sector at food banks and voluntary health organizations doing volunteer coordination, grassroots advocacy, and public health and education which also included supporting the organization's juvenile arthritis (JA) program. For the last six years I've worked with kids of all ages in many capacities from overnight camp counselor at JA camp in Estes Park, CO to planning appropriate and fun activities and experiences at JA events throughout the year. While getting my BA at Colorado State University in Fort Collins I also nannied for a family with three children (ages 1, 5, and 7 years old when I began) once or twice a week for two years. I will be re-certified in CPR for the health Read more care professional by 1/10/15 and also have experience as a volunteer EMT though my certification has expired. As a student my schedule will change each quarter but currently I am available for 10-25 hours/week through the end of March. A little about me: I love playing sports and being active outside (snowshoeing, snowboarding, hiking, walks, biking, etc); can't put down a good book; laughing and having fun; spending time in the kitchen; hanging out with my dog (or yours) in the backyard or dog park; arts and crafts; or a rousing game of Monopoly.
