Hi all! My name is Olivia and I'm currently living in Alexandria, VA. I am in school full time and I babysit about 20-25 hours a week for a wonderful family with a 9 year old son. Every weekday, I attend classes in the mornings and babysit from about 2:30-7:00PM. Due to my ongoing commitments to school and the Murphy family, I am not available on weekdays, but am completely free to help babysit on Saturdays and Sundays - all hours of the day. It is even possible for me to babysit on Friday nights, if you need me after about 6:30PM. I have babysat through Care.com for the past couple of years and in an effort to find more weekend jobs, or "date nights," I have joined this site as well. Before babysitting for the Murphy family, I babysat for the Miller family. This family had an 11 year Read more old son and a dog. I worked for the Millers for the 2013-2014 school year and summer, and had to move on to the next family because the boy, 12, is now old enough to watch himself. :) Through Care.com, I have also found several date night jobs. Over many different occasions, I have had experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary schoolers (all ages!). My breadth of experience in age groups allows me to be very flexible with who I can babysit. However, how many is a different question. I would prefer not to have to physically watch more than three children at a time.
