Hello! My name is Karli Kubik. I'm currently a student at Virginia Commonwealth University studying environmental science. I recently moved back to Richmond at the end of August to begin my sophomore year and I'm looking for a job for the school year. I have about 4 years of experience with childcare, including 3 years of experience as a camp counselors. I also have two younger sisters of my own (ages 6 and 8). I love kids of all ages. I was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years. I raised 2 children. I've taught special needs children. I've had training teaching children to read, write, spell, learn math, social studies and science. I enjoy doing crafts and learning new things.

Hi! My name is Laney, and I'm a junior at the University of Lynchburg, majoring in exercise physiology. I'm responsible, caring, energetic, and I really enjoy working with kids. I've been babysitting since my freshman year of high school and also four years of gymnastics coaching experience. Through coaching, I've worked with kids for about 15-18 hours a week which has given me lots of experience keeping kids engaged, encouraging them, and making sure they feel comfortable and supported. I love working with kids because I enjoy getting to know their personalities and finding fun activities to do together. I'm looking for a job where I can be someone families can trust and rely on. As a college student, my degree is a Music performing arts, but I also am taking many classes in youth development and ministry. My heart for children has been so strong since I can remember. At the age of 15 I started working in the nursery as well as child care for my church. I was also a youth worship leader, and was able to connect with young children. This past summer, I worked at a camp for three months straight with ages 8-13. It was such a joy being surrounded by young people and how I can help in their journey ! I’m a very bubbly person, and get along with everyone. I’m also very patient and enjoy connect with kids one on one.
