Hello! My name is Joanna and I recently re-located to Chicago from Virginia for my full time job which keeps me busy 40 hours a week. Over the past 10 years I have gained a variety of child care experience. As a teenager and in college I babysit children, both female and male, between the ages of 3 to 10. I have also been hired by friends and friends of friends to provide child care at large events such as weddings, holiday parties, etc. From Fall of 2013 through Spring of 2014, I was a coach for a program called Girls on The Run. It is a national program with the objective of helping girls between 3rd and 5th grade build self esteem while learning an appreciation for health and exercise. I currently volunteer with Chicago Cares and act as a supervisor during an after school PE program. I find Read more interacting with kids fulfilling and enjoy the natural humor of kids. I am a responsible adult who is capable of helping with homework, providing meals, engaging with the fun and imaginative aspects of kids, etc. My availability is mostly on the weekends (day & night) but can help out on the weekends every so often.
