Hi! My name is Yuri, and I'm a recent graduate from GWU currently working as an ophthalmic technician in Bethesda. I absolutely love working with kids - I started babysitting at the age of 13 and taught kindergarten for a year at the East Tennessee Japanese School when I was 18. My strengths as a babysitter include my ability to keep up with high-energy children and my ability to help your children with homework (I tutored remedial math students in high school, Calculus / Biology / Chemistry students in college as well as generally helping my younger brothers with homework throughout middle + high school). In my free time I enjoy backpacking, reading, and going to the movies! I am both Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified by the American Red Cross. I have also taken their Childcare & Babysitting course.
