I am a Human Development student at Virginia Tech. My major heavily emphasizes child development, and I have experience working in a Montessori school as a classroom aide with infants to children of 6 years. I am CPR certified. I grew up with four siblings, and participated in caring for them and housekeeping. I also babysit for a few families in Blacksburg on an as-needed basis. I am looking for something a little more consistent. I have a passion for the outdoors, and think it is important for children to have sensory experiences in nature. I support creativity, independence, hands on experiences. I am hoping to get my Masters in Library Science, and would love to work with a family that wanted to be involved in the library.
