Hi there! My name is Alexis and I am currently an occupational therapy student at Radford University Carilion. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Human Nutrition Food & Exercise Science with a minor in psychology. I have over 10 years of childcare experience from every age range. I worked as a companion for first year college students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in college as well as I have a younger brother with ASD who I have assisted and supported since he was born. I have prior experience working as a special education teaching assistant when I lived in Virginia Beach and as a behavioral support clinician specializing in ABA in Roanoke. I have a passion for working and spending time with kiddos and hope to specialize in pediatrics once I graduate OT school. I love to spend my time outdoors and love to garden!
