I have over 17 years working as a full-time Nanny, Household Manager, Family Assistant, Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, House Sitter, and high-school Volleyball Coach. I was as an EA, Household Manager, and Nanny for a family on a 477-acre farm in Keswick, VA for 3 years. While I was responsible for many different roles, I did my job thoroughly. I helped with light housekeeping for multiple residences, coordinating with housekeeper on schedules, supplies, and specific requests. I prepared cottages on the property for rentals (laundry, buying groceries, light housekeeping).  I ran errands everywhere, including dry cleaning, grocery shopping, gift purchasing, package mailing, etc. I was responsible not only for helping my client run their businesses from in-home and out-of-home offices, but also for maintaining their farm. On a daily to weekly need, I cleaned up debris; cared for pets and farm animals; grocery shopped and prepared dinner; watered plants and flowers; swept porches; organized projects Read more throughout their home and offices; restocked entire households and offices; served as a liaison between staff, etc.; extensive holiday decorating and shopping, including gift wrapping and shipping; wardrobe management; packed/unpacked for business trips and family vacations; vehicle maintenance; etc. I oversaw the daily needs for the family’s child including daily transportation to/from school and activities, coordination and supervision of play dates, attendance at school functions, cooking, and entertainment. In 2017, I relocated to Chicago IL to work as a full-time Nanny/Family Assistant for a very prominent, ultra-wealthy and private family. I was responsible for everything related to the three children I cared for including extensive domestic and international travel and driving, as well as serving as the liaison between the client and our fully staffed home, drafting handwritten correspondence, pet care, cooking, shopping and vehicle maintenance. In 2020, just before the nationwide pandemic hit, I returned to the East Coast, working in Washington, D.C. for the next two years as a full-time nanny with more household assistant responsibilities including helping to care for a newly acquired residential farm property in Virginia. As my time living and working in D.C. came to an end earlier this year, I found myself longing to be back in Charlottesville, VA; a place I have grown to love and miss.
