I am a second year at University of Virginia in the Kinesiology program and a member of UVa's cross county and track team. I grew up in Kansas and was home-schooled throughout most of my high school years (except for my senior year which I completed at a public school is Northern Virginia). I am the youngest of five and a pastor's daughter. I grew up on a horse farm with cats and dogs and other farm animals. I love being around animals and nature. As a runner, I enjoy being active and spending time outside. I also am experienced at cooking and am interested in nutrition. Throughout high school and the beginnings of my college years, I have babysat for many families mostly connected with my church. I am experience with all ages, larges families, and a wide variety of personalities. I am most familiar with boys, but I Read more have cared for a number of girls as well. Though I do not have any special certifications at the moment, I plan to be CPR, AED, and First Aid certified by the end of this semester through my Emergency Medical Care course. I believe children are a blessing from the Lord and caring for them is a rewarding and learning experience. I also consider babysitting a great way to bless families by giving parents opportunities to accomplish important tasks, spend time together, or just get some "away time" from the normal duties of child rearing. I believe God has blessed me with an able body and a special love for children with which I can bless others by caring for the children of families wherever God has placed me in this world. So I would be honored to bless you through babysitting!
