My name is Erin O’Connor and I am looking for part-time nanny help! I have lived in Charlottesville almost my entire life, and love getting to come home and find babysitting jobs to fill my summer with! I am currently committed to a family that I met through Care.com three years ago, but the job is only three days a week, therefore each summer I try and schedule other part-time jobs around this commitment, as it grants me a lot of free time. I just finished my junior year at James Madison University where I am studying early childhood education. This past semester I completed my first student teaching practicum where I was working in a kindergarten classroom and took corresponding classes that focused on child development, infancy-first grade. These classes included early childhood development, early childhood education, diversity, and reading development, which have all given me a strong background Read more and knowledge on infants and young children. I am Red Cross certified in both babysitting (which includes infant care and first aid) and CPR. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, encouraging and participating in dramatic play with children, and spending time/playing outdoors! I feel very comfortable with helping during bedtime routines and I am completely comfortable with pets! I have been babysitting in the area for roughly ten years and would be more than happy to provide you with multiple references. I also have no issue with you requesting a background check in terms of scheduling, I am working M,T,TH 8-3PM, but as of now am commitment free around those times.
