A little about myself, I'm a rising 4rd year attending the University of Virginia majoring in Neuroscience on the pre-med track as l aspire to be a doctor, specifically an Anesthesiologist. I am the oldest, as have a younger brother who's about 16 months younger than me. Fun fact about me is l'm a Caner survivor. I was diagnosed in August of 2018 and cleared in December of 2020. Going through that journey and the things I experience only intensified my love for medicine and the medical field. I want to help people the way my physicians helped me but also impact the great community by saving lives. At UVA, I'm am very involved around grounds. I am the secretary of my sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc as well as the secretary of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. I am the president of Black Presidents Council and the Director of Read more Philanthropy for CRAVE Model Troop. I enjoy keeping myself busy with community service, volunteering and within the different orgs I'm associated with at UVA. In my free time, when I'm not volunteering or planning events for orgs, l'm enjoy reading.. I'm currently reading "The Cabin" by Natasha Preston. I also like coloring in both coloring books and on my IPad. I also love hanging out with my girlfriends as we always find something new to do together and love trying/doing new things.
