In addition to having grown up with and cared for an older brother with Down Syndrome, I have always loved working with children. In middle school, I was part of a lunch group that would go in and work with special needs kids in the school and interact and help with classwork. I've done two internships at children's summer camps: a two week art camp, and a one week, sleep away drama camp. I've also babysat for younger neighbors and had two temporary baby sitting jobs for children ages 8-14. In my junior year of high school I partook in CPR and First Aid training and was certified, and I was re-certified in both as of 6/15/16. I go to Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and I study Game Design/Development. I love creating stories and playing both board and video games with my friends, and ever since I Read more was little, I'd create my own games and my own mini sports in my backyard. I love drawing and using watercolor, and I am happy to share supplies with your children, if they happen to like art! I'm also a distinguished scholar at SCAD and have a generous scholarship for my academic achievements, so if your child requires tutoring, I'm glad to help in that way as well! I am more than willing to do light housework and some basic cooking (ie taking direction from recipes as well as basic heating of food), so just let me know if you'd like that in addition to caring for your children!
